Enrique Mondaca Joins BIVI U.S. Swine Team
Mondaca earned his veterinary degree from the Sonora Institute of Technology, Sonora, Mexico, and his doctorate in veterinary epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. He has been active in the global swine health industry for more than 17 years, serving as coordinator of regional PRRS control programs for several counties in Minnesota as well as for the state of Sonora in Mexico.
Most recently, Mondaca served as a swine production consultant and epidemiologist at Cannon Valley Veterinary Clinic in Northfield, Minn.
"Dr. Mondaca's extensive experience in swine epidemiology and regional PRRS control programs will be a tremendous benefit to our customers and the swine industry as well," says Dale Polson, DVM, technical resources manager for BIVI. "His scientific background and swine production experience helps provide practical solutions to on-farm PRRS challenges producers face today."
Mondaca will continue to reside in Minnesota.
