Dosage & Administration
Injection: Dogs 0.25 to 0.50 mL per 10 pounds body weight once or twice daily at 6 to 8 hour intervals. Administer IV or IM. Horses Use table on label to determine correct dose once or twice daily at 6 to 8 hour intervals until desired results are achieved. Administer IV or IM. Tablets: Dogs 1 to 2 mg/lb body weight once or twice daily at 6 to 8 hour intervals. Adjust dosage to individual response.
Precautions
Store at controlled room temperature, 59∞- 86∞ F or 15∞- 30∞ C. If given in excessive amounts, may result in dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Contraindicated in anuria. Uses Disal Injection is an effective diuretic-saluretic for use in the treatment of acute non-inflammatory tissue edema in dogs and horses and for use in treatment of edema associated with cardiac insufficiency in dogs. Disal Tablets are indicated for treatment of edema associated with cardiac insufficiency and acute non-inflammatory tissue edema in dogs.
