Description
Enterisol® SC-54 is recommended for use in healthy, susceptible, swine, one day of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of salmonellosis.

Advantages
Safety – The only salmonella vaccine that does not contain the virulence plasmid (disease causing gene). The only vaccine proven to reduce salmonella in the live animal and at harvest.
Dosage & Administration
Lyophilized Form, Rehydrate the vaccine by adding the full contents of the accompanying sterile diluent to the vaccine. Shake well and use immediately. Frozen Form, Thaw appropriate doses under slowly running cold tap water. Do not use warm water. Approximately 30 minutes per bottle. Only the lyophilized form may be administered intranasally using a 2 mL dose for swine 1 day of age or older. The lyophilized form and the frozen form may be administered via the drinking water. Administer via conventional (open trough or barrel-type tank system) or automatic watering systems equipped with proportioner. See insert for complete directions.
Precautions
Lyophilized form, Store at 35°- 45° F (2° - 7° C). Do not freeze. Frozen form, Store with ice in conventional freezer for up to 10 days.
Uses
Mass vaccination to prevent salmonellosis. Recommended for use in salmonella reduction programs. Farms where pork quality is high priority.
Warning
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not store reconstituted vaccine. In case of anaphylactoid reactions, epinephrine is symptomatic treatment.
