Description

Erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae Vaccine, Live Culture is a frozen vaccine prepared from a specially selected strain of Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.

Advantages

The only one dose oral erysipelas vaccine in the market. Most economic erysipelas protection to market. Simple oral vaccination eliminates need for injection.


Dosage & Administration

Administer 1 dose per pig in the drinking water. Plan vaccination timing to allow thawing of the contents of the vaccine vial in air at controlled room temperature or in a cold water bath at (60-75°) until liquid.


Precautions

Store frozen at ultralow temperatures below -50°C or with dry ice packs. Can be stored at -20°C for not more than 14 days. Do not refreeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Burn containers and all unused contents. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Administer epinephrine.


Uses

Recommended for the oral administration to healthy, susceptible swine eight weeks of age or older for prevention of disease caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae (erysipelas). Herds at risk of breaking with erysipelas. Herds where pork Quality Assurance is a priority.
