Description
Toxivac® AD+E is a bacterin toxoid containing cell free and nontoxic antigens of Pasteurella multocida as well as inactivated cultures of Bordetella bronchiseptica and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.

Dosage & Administration
Sows or gilts: Vaccinate intramuscularly with two doses (2 mL each) at 5 weeks and 2 weeks prior to initial farrowing. Vaccinate with 1 dose (2 mL) at 3 weeks prior to subsequent farrowings. Vaccinate all new replacement breeding stock with 2 doses (2 mL each) spaced a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks apart prior to entry into breeding herd. Boars: Initially vaccinate intramuscularly with 2 doses (2 mL each) spaced a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks apart. Revaccinate annually. Pigs: Vaccinate intramuscularly with 1 dose (2 mL) at 3 to 4 weeks of age.
Precautions
Shake well. Store in dark under refrigeration not over 45° F or to 7° C. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, epinephrine is symptomatic treatment.
Uses
Recommended for use in swine as an aid in the prevention of disease due to infection by Bordetella bronchiseptica, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae and toxigenic strains of Pasteurella multocida Type A and D.
Warning
Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. For veterinary use only.
